I always start with a whiteboard. It’s where I strip everything down and try to understand the core of the project or the client their values, their identity, and the emotional “soul” behind what they want to create.
From there, I go deeper into personal context. I look at individual experiences, stories, and motivations, then identify shared experiences that can connect the idea to something universal.
Once I have those “bones,” I start building layers on top of them visual direction, narrative structure, rhythm, tone, and aesthetic choices. Each layer serves a purpose and strengthens the original foundation, rather than distracting from it.
Step by step, the project takes form until it becomes a complete piece: structured, intentional, and emotionally aligned with the original idea.
